I joined the VNPAY family at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, starting by familiarizing myself with existing products and ongoing projects. Shortly after, I had the privilege of working under a dedicated manager who trusted me with the responsibility of collaborating directly with BIDV’s Digital Banking Center to lead the redesign of the BIDV SmartBanking application.
Over the years, through many iterations, changes, and improvements, this project has remained the most challenging and emotionally meaningful one to me—bringing not only valuable case studies, but also countless lessons and growth opportunities. It was also during this time that I built a strong foundation of experience, which later allowed me to take on major projects for other banks such as Public Bank, Baoviet Bank, and more recently, Agribank Plus.

Enhancing and evolving the VNPAY e-wallet was another significant challenge for me, as it is a super app with a wide range of features supported by a strong and complex ecosystem. I was involved across the entire process—from UX audits and UI concept development to workflow standardization, design system building, and finally implementation and testing. Through this comprehensive and iterative effort, the application has achieved a high level of user satisfaction and continues to be well received by its users.

We spent countless hours exploring ideas, iterating through many different approaches, and pushing for better solutions—always with a strong sense of professionalism. Sometimes their enthusiasm even caught me a little off guard, but it’s something I truly appreciate and enjoy, as it brings great energy and life to the work we do together.
In addition, in my role as a team leader, I’ve been fortunate to work with a group of young, passionate, energetic, and highly talented designers. We spent countless hours exploring ideas, iterating through many different approaches, and pushing for better solutions—always with a strong sense of professionalism. Sometimes their enthusiasm even caught me a little off guard, but it’s something I truly appreciate and enjoy, as it brings great energy and life to the work we do together.
